Lone Pine Hotel, Penang

So I got married last November, and took some days off for honeymoon. Since we’re broke like we always do, we opted to go somewhere very, very near. Like, a 30-minute-drive-from-home near.

Actually, it’s still quite expensive. But at least we don’t have to spend on airfares and such. Anyway, the place was great! It’s the kind of place where you know that you’re not the only one there, but it feels like the whole place only belongs to yourself. Reception was excellent, the place was quiet (luckily bukan musim cuti), room was simple but felt luxurious, and the best part was the balcony with a bathtub! Hehe. Don’t know la how you’re going to mandi-manda at the balcony, but I’m sure when you get there, you’ll figure that out by yourself.

The only downside I can think of is the breakfast spread was not as extensive as I would’ve hoped. Western tak berapa banyak choice. But they do serve koay teow goreng made to order, and it’s one of the best koay teow goreng I’ve tasted my entire life. Seriously. Rugi tak ambik gambar.

Yang lain, excellent! Takde cacat cela langsung.
