And with that, my 3+months stay in Shah Alam is nearly concluded. You just can’t imagine how relieved I feel right now. The past 1 and a half month especially has been really challenging. Starting December, I only had the chance to take 6 days off. Weekends? Pbffft! What weekends?!
I might be here after the long holiday, or I might not. That’s for the management to decide.
Right now I’m just concerned how would I manage living apart from my husband. We were ‘lucky’ that I had to stay here for work right after we got married. Yes, I did say ‘lucky’, because it is a double edged sword. It’s good that I get to stay with my husband; it’s bad that I had to work like there’s no tomorrow.
I guess by now I’m already accustomed to having a companion.
Right from the start, we did agree that this is going to be a long distance relationship. Well, at least until one of us pull up roots and join the other in a totally new environment. But no matter how long we talked about this, no matter how hard we try to convince ourselves that this is going to be alright; at least on my part, I know that I can never be fully prepared when the time comes.
Though I guess, we’re not that unfortunate lah, because what separates us is just a 4-hour drive. Bukannya lautan api yang membara pun. Tapi aku nak bermanja dengan sapa weeiiii lepas ni?? Huhu…
